Kingdom Of Rust

Watch the Video. Jez Williams goes around the United Kingdom to find a suitable place to bury his lover's ashes. There are so many connections. It is just beautiful. Kingdom of Rust - I'll pack my bags, thinking of one of those hours, with you, waiting for you.....

I hear a sound
A sound above my head
Distant sound of thunder
Moving out on the moor
Blackbirds flew in
And to the cooling towers
I'll pack my bags
Thinking of one of those hours
With you
Waiting for you
My god
It takes an ocean of trust
In the Kingdom of Rust
I long to feel
Some beauty in my heart
As I go searching
Right to the start
The road back to Preston
Was jutted out in snow
As I went looking
For that stolen heart
For you
Waiting for you
My god
It takes an ocean of trust
Takes an effort, it does
My god
It takes an ocean of trust
It's in the Kingdom of Rust
I long to feel
That wince in my heart
As I went looking
I couldn't stop
Now I'm
Waiting for you

Ipswich

It's nice here. No hassles - no tubes and no Punks walking freely on the road with bad breath and poor style. People don't appreciate watching the desi's walk around but that's okay. I guess we Indians are used to the fact that no one in the world really accepts us.

Something very interesting came across the other day. I was writing this test and i stumbled upon a sentence correction question. I dont remember the structure, but it was something like - It has been found that people who don't do well in academics, earn much more that people who excelled in academics at some point in time.

I was watching "The Italian Job" and i made this connection. You need a lot of brains to steal something. The kind of strategy they put in (like Oceans 11) - It is nearly impossible for someone ordinary to achieve that. Take for example the IIT'ians/ IIM grads/ Stanford Grads/ MIT Grads/ etc etc. The list goes on. The fact is that graduates from such big institutes always end up making pot loads of money. Now, the kind of people who actually manage to get into these places are actually the one's who are talented/brilliant/smart. So ideally these are the people who know the art of stealing money from the market for their own benefit. Only smart people can do that. So if you get a high GMAT score and you write good essay's and manipulate your resume in such a way that you are recognized as a SMART KID - you make it to these places. So the smart kid wins again.

Otherwise, things are the way they used to be last year around. I came across another event that happened 2 years back - rather i was reminded of. Since the designs are more simplified now, i feel that i am in a better place than before.

Heartattack In A Layby

I pull off the road East of Baldock and Ashford Feeling for my cell In the light from the dashboard Hissing from the road The smell of rain in the air con Maybe check the news Or just put a tape on Lighting up a smoke I've got this feeling inside me Don't feel too good If I close my eyes And fell asleep in this layby Would it all subside The fever pushing the day by Motor window wind I could do with some fresh air Can't breathe too well (She waits for me. Home waits for me.) I guess I should go now She's waiting to make up To tell me she's sorry And how much she missed me I guess I'm just burnt out I really should slow down I'm perfectly fine but I just need to lie down We'll grow old together We'll grow old together We'll grow old together...

Blackfield

"While I'm melting in the rain, deep in pain, she is so far
Will we ever meet again as friends, after so long?".... I have been screaming my lungs out. I never expected the "Three Days Grace 4 minute like static music" to take me for another fantastic fall.
It's been awhile since the bench at clapham south happened. I am gonna turn 24 years old this month. I remember my last birthday... Had a time yea! Aye Mate!

Jolly be the one who travelled the road less hated!
